Joerg Reichardt photographs have appeared in editorials, advertisings for brands like Puma, Nikon, Absolut Vodka, and magazines from Mondo Uomo to Vogue — and now he’s your instructor. In his class Joerg reflects on his career and the power of telling stories with photography. Joerg’s masterclass is designed to not only to guide you to the most photogenic locations in Havana, and allow you to look behind doors, but to aid you in mentally visualising a scene before capturing the decisive moment. Joerg’s aim is to raise your awareness and spark your creativity. You will become knowledgeable on how to survey the landscape, utilise and approach your environment, photograph people indigenous to the region and the cultural considerations and challenges of photographing in a foreign country. And no photographic workshop would be complete without discussing workflow and learn to bring images to life in post-production.
Joerg will be supported by the young and energetic Cuban photographer Adrian Legra from Havana, specialized in “Photo de Quince”, and full with down to earth tips. Giselle Perez from the travel agency ‘Que Bola Havana’, will be in charge of the touristic supporting programme, and will help with all your needs aside from the masterclass.
